MAN AND HIS ERECTIONS: The Documentary
The Relationship between man and his erected entity has been manifested since the beginning of his existence. Man has evolved physiologically and psychologically throughout history due to changes in environment and culture. From erecting his physical body to erecting a structure, there has been an association of man and his attitude towards social identity and sexuality. The film is a documentary attempting explore the interconnections between man and his erections. It crosses the explanation of the metaphor "outside-in inside-out." Architecture and man's physical body ( including his penis) symbolize the outside. The abstract interpretation of interior spaces and his psychology symbolize the inside.
Synopsis:
A male porn star, JB Dover, with 13 years of experience must face a challenge of his manhood. During the filming of an x-rated production, he experiences an erectile dysfunction, causing disappointment and frustration to his co-star and most importantly Gino, the director. Affected by this unfamiliar change, his wife also has to deal with the consequences of him possibly loosing his career. Stress rises high while JB waits for Gino to call for the next shoot. A week goes by, still not heard from Gino, JB makes his first attempt to talk to Gino by stopping by his studio. As told, the secretary awkwardly lies to JB that Gino is not in, but actually he is in the studio auditioning for JB’s replacement. Another week goes by, still not heard from Gino, JB begins to look for another job. While looking in the newspaper, he sees an ad for a sex clinic where they offer variety of erectile dysfunction treatments. He decides to visit the clinic first just to get some medication. Then he discovers many other alternative options. Will JB get his job back? What will happen then? Is this all that matters in his life? Find out in August!(revised 04/26/2008)

Random Seating: An Exploration of Individuals and Their Environments

This film is a study of multicultural individuals and their reaction to selected environments, incorporating rigid scripting, improvisation, and natural reaction, directed by installation/Performance artist and Interior Design Instructor, Rujanee Mahakanjana.
"Chance operation therapy of John Cage has influenced me the most for the making and concept of this film. It gives us all the possible unexpected, and randomness of life. Many times I have experienced it myself where I plan so precisely and become so certain of events in life, yet as soon as you think you know what everything is and where everything is going, something else unforeseen always happens, whether it's good or bad. But, I like to think that it's all good. All that happens in life and in reality is meant to be learned then we grow from it. As my work is in nature and with my own life experience, I am convinced that no one can be fully alone in an environment. They are, at least, with themselves. And, not only will one's thoughts or actions affect their surrounding, but their surrounding also more or less affects one's thoughts and actions. Energy exchanged, life goes on. imagine that.. " -R.
