Qualifications:

-You must be in Chicago on the screening day. 

-You can be as old as you can be, but you must be at least 18. 

-You must not involve in the production, or know no one who is involved, such as film crew, actors, interviewees, and other production staff.   

-You may have some interest in architecture, but its not required.

-You are willing to share your thoughts after screening, honestly.

Peter Jones Studio Theatre and Rujanee In-Space Studio present Premiere Screening of RANDOM SEATING, an experimental narrative short film about how a young Thai woman living in Chicago learns to accept an unpredictable reality part of life by clashing into random characters and getting involved in the randomness of unforeseen events. The making process is also influenced by John Cage's chance operation. Each of three happening scenes consists of actor(s) with rigid scripting, some with improvisation, and some are real people who were present at the shoots, which resulted spontaneuos random interactions. WHEN: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9. RECEPTION AT 8PM, SHOW AT 8:30PM WHERE: PETER JONES STUDIOS THEATRE (CUYLER AND RAVENSWOOD) Snacks and drinks are provided at reception. Seats are limited so come early.
